How this workshop is built.
Ordinary web tools, a private repository, and a person who keeps the keys.
What runs it
Wired Differently is a static site built with Astro, Markdown and plain CSS, then hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The code lives in a private GitHub repository. The website is public; the workshop bench is not.
Writing, projects and Lab records are kept as portable Markdown files. Full articles remain on Substack, which is still the canonical home for the newsletter. This site makes the surrounding work easier to find, connect and return to.
What AI did
Codex helped build and maintain the site: shaping code, checking links, testing layouts and doing the repetitive bits that do not need a person staring at them for an hour. AI can make a useful first pass. It does not decide what belongs here, what is true, or what gets published.
The choices, the source material, the edits and the final call remain human work. Purple remains in charge of morale.
What does not happen here
There are no visitor accounts, databases, advertising trackers or analytics scripts. The Local AI Model Picker runs in your browser; it does not inspect your machine, store your answers or call home.
This is a deliberately small site. When something new earns a place, it can be added without quietly turning into a platform.
Keeping it honest
This page is a working record, not a victory lap. If the tools, boundaries or hosting change, this is where that will be noted.
